Location

  • Puchica Studio: 3112 East 4th St, Los Angeles, CA 90063

    Puchica is a Queer POC owned private studio located in Boyle Heights with a focus to ensure a safe space for both clients and artists, free from judgment in all forms.

  • We are ground level as we are a storefront retail space. Unfortunately, we have measured our restroom door entrance as it may not have the requirements for wheelchair accessibility.

  • Yes, the studio still requires masking when in the studio and during the duration of the tattoo process.

  • No, it's street parking only. There usually are plenty of spots along 4th street during the week, but it can get crowded on weekends. Please arrive with enough time to find a parking spot. Keep a lookout for any signage.

Booking

  • You must fill out my booking form. I go in the order they’re submitted.

  • They’re open 2 months at a time. Meaning I will open May and June together and you’re able to submit an inquiry for those months and Etc, etc.

    This is easier for me to respond to booking forms and keeps the workload manageable.

  • Yes. My current schedule is Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

  • I say I work within the fine line, stipple (dot-work), delicate design area mainly. Realism within my interpretation of that.

    But with that being said, I also do color and nostalgic tattoos. I love this field because I evolve and learn different techniques to apply and expand my work.

    Send a form and we can discuss whether something you like falls within my style.

  • For custom tattoos, I do not send the design prior to our appointment date/time!

    If need be, I will send a rough sketch to ensure we are on the same page. But the finished design will be shown the day of our appointment with room for one adjustment. Thank you for understanding.

    Remember, I do not copy other artists' work. If you get permission or pay to use their work then that’s another discussion. Everything I draw is my interpretation and in my style.

  • Yes, 15-30 min consultations are available. Either virtually or in-person during my work days.

  • I offer one free touch-up within 1 year from the initial tattoo appointment.

    If your tattoo needs a touch-up due to negligent aftercare of the tattoo, please let me know. Please give your tattoo at least one month before requesting a touch-up. If we discussed otherwise then that’s different.

Pricing

  • Customs hourly: My hourly rate is $150, with a minimum of $200 which means if your tattoo takes an hour or less, you must pay the minimum rate of $200.

    Designs can range in price depending on sizing, detail, color & placement. Also, keep in mind that color tattoos may need 2 sessions depending on sizing. Before booking is complete, time estimates are sent out to ensure pricing is agreed upon.

  • My hourly rate is $125, with a minimum of $150 meaning if your tattoo takes an hour or less, you must pay the minimum rate of $150.

    Designs can range in price depending on sizing, detail, color, and placement. Also, keep in mind that color tattoos may need 2 sessions depending on sizing. Before booking is complete, time estimates are sent out to ensure pricing is agreed upon.

    Low income pricing is prioritized for the QTBIPOC community. If you’re financially in a good place, please be mindful of paying regular price.

  • ALL flash minimums start at $175+.

    Designs can range in price depending on final size and detail. Before booking is complete, quotes are sent out to ensure pricing is agreed upon.

  • An $80 deposit is required to secure your appointment.

    All deposits are required and non-refundable.

  • Tips are never required, but I do appreciate them.

    Tips aside from cash that I accept are handmade goods like jewelry, knitted and/or embroidered items, art prints, stickers, and shirts. Coffee, water, and snacks are also accepted!

  • Cash, Venmo or Zelle.

    If paying cash, please have funds available as we do not have an ATM machine in the studio. There is an ATM available at the convenience store next door.

Tattoo Prep

  • Please drink plenty of water as hydration is key.

    Also, eat something girthy with protein at least 2 hours before your appointment. You need substance in your system so please avoid not eating or eating anything too light.

    Avoid consuming too much caffeine, Tylenol, or alcohol before your appointment as this can disrupt tattoo procedure.

  • You will definitely feel something. Tattoos require you to be present in your body. To move through the pain and surrender to the process. I believe in the body keeping a score and some areas may feel more tender than others.

  • Reschedule: If you need to reschedule (Non-illness) or cancel, I will only allow this ONCE with the deposit you submitted. This must be done 48 hours before your appointment. If you need to reschedule (non-illness) or cancel DAY OF, the deposit will no longer apply towards your tattoo meaning, instead turn into a rescheduling fee. It takes time for me to prepare everything so please keep that in mind.

    Cancellations: You have 48 hours to reschedule your appointment with the deposit you've provided. If you cancel any time or become a NO SHOW. Once again, deposits are non-refundable. If you decide to cancel and not reschedule, the deposit is still non-refundable.

    No Shows: Please don’t do this. No judgment, so please communicate & don’t ghost.
